Think you might like to join Polegate Rambling Club?
If you think you would like to join Polegate Rambling Club - it's official title - then please come and join us for a few walks first.We like to think that we are a friendly and welcoming group of people so don't feel nervous - just check our Walks Programme to select a walk you'd like to do, read our Advice page and then turn up at Wannock Road recreation ground car park at about 09:15 - 09:20 on that Thursday morning.
If you're not already a regular walker or haven't walked any distance for a while then you might want to choose a Short Walk first (usually about 5miles and a little over 2hours long). You might want to pick one which is described as being not too hilly. If even this seems a little daunting then start with a Leisure Walk and see how you get on.

If, after a couple of walks with us, you decide you'd like to continue walking with Polegate Ramblers then we ask that you join - the annual membership fee is just £3 (current at 2010).
